HYPE 3x3 HOCKEY Hits Tartu for the First Time!

The Latvian 3x3 Hockey Federation proudly brings its increasingly popular HYPE 3x3 HOCKEY tournament to the picturesque Estonian city of Tartu for the very first time (June 7-8, 2025)! 

Professional and semi-professional hockey players, don't miss your chance! For the very first time, the picturesque Estonian city of Tartu will host the exhilarating HYPE 3x3 HOCKEY tournament! Situated on the banks of the Emajõgi River, Tartu is renowned for its rich history, ancient university, and unique student-town atmosphere. 

It is here, amidst charming streets and historic buildings, that professional hockey players will immerse themselves in the world of fast-paced and unpredictable 3x3 hockey. This dynamic format promises both spectators and participants explosive emotions, incredible drive, and constant tension on the ice. Every shift is a whirlwind of speed, skillful shots, and unpredictable moments, guaranteeing unforgettable experiences and genuine sporting excitement! 


Our tournament is gaining significant traction and expanding beyond Latvia's borders. This edition, with a minimum of 8 participating teams planned, marks our debut in Estonia, and we anticipate strong interest with teams planning to participate from Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and Sweden! We are hopeful that this expansion will attract even more interest and participants from other countries.



High-level, non-contact 3-on-3 hockey awaits you at the modern Astri Arena. And for all participating teams, accommodation at the comfortable Hotel Sophia in Tartu is already included!

Teams: 8

Format: 3 vs 3 (full ice), 2 Groups

Game Duration: 3 x 7 min (running time), last 2 min of 3rd period - pure time.

Points: Win (regulation) - 2 pts, Tie - 1 pt, Loss (regulation) - 0 pts.

Team Size: Min. 9 players + 1 goalie.

Rules: Non-contact, penalty shots for minors, shootouts for ties.

Accommodation: Hotel Sophia (Tartu) + breakfast included.

Marupe, June 28, 2026 — For the fourth time, the Hype 3x3 Hockey Tournament descended upon Marupe — and for the fourth time, it delivered everything fans could ask for: speed, drama, and a champion worthy of the title. When the final buzzer sounded on Sunday evening, it was Sherwood lifting the trophy after a gripping 3–2 victory over HK Kolumbs in a final that had spectators on the edge of their seats from first drop to last.
